To be fair, it doesn't say he was actually on the festival street... but dammit, they never should have reopened that street to traffic. People had a few years to get used to it being closed and it was fine. It didn't hurt traffic at all. But noooo, the cars have to have the right to go everywhere

I don't need Phish to remember this. The date is burned in my memory. I was on the phone with my friend Dave Wright when he heard the news (I think on Monday Night Football). He told me. I ran back to the tv room to ask if my parents had heard anything.

Sudden thought. Since "-ot" is a diminutive, this isn't so much a Middle English Denise Cook, it's DeeDee Cook! :D

Yup, that’s a famous name. Does it help to know that “Coke” here is the Middle English version of “Cook”? And “-ot” is a diminutive suffix, in this case probably for “Dionisia.” Basically, she was Denise Cook.

Salty and sweet is good. Black licorice (or anything else with anise/fennel flavor) tastes horrible to me, though.
