I'm excited to have a new social media platform to not know what to do with. Interests: cats, anime, FFXIV, disney, random other stuff.
What I wouldn't give for a reporter to just clap back with "It's been over a decade. Do you not have a plan because you're not qualified as a party to make one, or because you just don't care about Americans having good healthcare?"

And this is why I wasn't patting Greene on the back with everyone else. She's still the exact same person she's been this entire time.

She will NEVER take genuine accountability for her part in this nightmare.

Everyone on FOX News deserves to be committed to a psych ward. Whether because they really mean it, or because of their lack of hesitation to say it, it is genuinely unsafe for the rest of us for them to be allowed to exist in the general society.

I could see Thancred as head of security

I imagine for his followers it would be less "oh goodness, that's not dignified language!" and more "openly insulting black people and women?? he just like me fr!"

Is three times enough...

Well that's essentially what this case is really about: whether an EO or the Constitution is the highest authority in the land.

EOs derive authority from law, which derive authority from the Constitution. If SCOTUS says an EO can outweigh the Constitution, then we have no Constitution anymore.

Poorly written headline, NPR. Shame on you.

You're validating their narrative that the nationality of your parents somehow plays a part in whether or not the 14th Amendment applies to you. It doesn't. There is no language in 14A which says otherwise.

Born here, citizen here. Simple as that.

This case is a question to SCOTUS on whether Executive Orders have more authority than the Constitution, which has been the highest authority in our country since its founding.

The answer is OBVIOUSLY "no", but we'll get to see which Justices are truly traitors in a second here.
December 6, 2025 at 6:13 PM
Correct, there's no ambiguity.

This case is less about citizenship, and entirely about whether or not Executive Orders have the authority to override the Constitution (Hint: they don't.)

Any Justice that doesn't shoot Trump down on this is a traitor to Bench and country both.
December 6, 2025 at 6:08 PM
Likely get upheld, but my concern is that it won't be 9-0.

Dems will all reject Trump, so we just need 2 others to vote to shut him down. It's not completely hopeless yet.
December 6, 2025 at 9:29 AM
Zero reasons for this not to be 9-0 against Trump.

Anything less than 9, and we're about to see which SCOTUS Justices want desperately to be impeached for brazenly violating their Oaths to uphold the Constitution when Dems finally get back into power.
December 6, 2025 at 9:15 AM
When Trump won I legit went out and bought more masks, hand sanitizer, etc 'cause I knew if something like this happened again it, the nightmare of their COVID response would pale in comparison now that they're *completely* unhinged and drunk on fascist power.
December 6, 2025 at 12:25 AM
Really should be illegal for any elected body anywhere in the country to shut down a "town square" forum for any reason other than objectively significant physical safety concerns.

Otherwise they shouldn't be allowed to dip out on hearing opposing voices like a bunch of cowards.

And that's fine. There are plenty of Star Trek series already made which I can rewatch to get my fix while people who are less picky about their scifi standards than I am can have this.
December 5, 2025 at 2:02 AM
No, 'cause 1) Paramount currently supports the fascists, 2) this looks like it'll devolve quickly into teen soap opera slop, which is not my cup of tea, and 3) I'm sure as is the current trend with "cerebral" shows, all important themes will be delivered with cringey too-on-the-nose dialogue.
December 5, 2025 at 2:02 AM
I love the facial expressions of several of the people around him screaming internally "why is he saying this in front of cameras oh my god we're doomed".
December 4, 2025 at 7:37 AM
You seem like a very unserious person, like someone who's role-playing an activist rather than someone willing to roll up their sleeves and actually do anything about the current situation. I think we've reached the point in the conversation where it's time to block and move on. You have a nice day.
December 3, 2025 at 4:10 PM
So no real suggestions about solutions then, based on your provided links, just some wishlist items.
December 3, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Literally what does this even contribute to the conversation?
December 3, 2025 at 2:54 AM
We need to put the work in to get more progressive Dems elected in the primaries, but failing that it's still Blue No Matter Who because we NEED a majority.

Blue voters need to use their brains right now, not just their ideals. Now's not the time for temper tantrum votes. Too much at stake.

I feel that maybe Admiral Bradley should have remembered he's legally obligated NOT to follow an illegal order, and by the time you reach the rank of Admiral you'd know giving no quarter is a war crime.

He's complicit. Take him and Hegseth both down.
