I feel like I should clarify something - I'm not here to farm followers, I'm here to follow friends and news outlets (and maybe a celeb or two). This isn't the other site. No follow for follow bullshit. I auto block anyone I don't know that follows me and I don't know who you are. Not here for that.
As someone deep into the 3D printer hobby, I love this. I want more functional/entertaining things to print at home. Chess sets are cool but I want to expand on that, like things like this.

My lottery ticket from Tuesday won $20. My friend wanted to go halfsies on a ticket for Friday for the same amount. So I cashed my ticket in and bought a new one for $20. I'll take nothing from her and give her half the jackpot if we win. It didn't cost me anything, so half of zero is AHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I guess it's almost over here in NY. I've been chasing down bugs in an app I've been developing. It is my favorite holiday but the world is on fire right now. My job just laid off 1,000 people. My favorite holiday has not been at the forefront of my mind, unfortunately.

Immich just released version 2.0! I literally just installed this over the weekend, which cracks me up because it updated to 2.0 like 2 days later. They are also selling CD-Roms with it! They have come so far and I'm proud of their development!

Immich just released version 2.0! I literally just installed this over the weekend, which cracks me up because it updated to 2.0 like 2 days later. They are also selling CD-Roms with it! They have come so far and I'm proud of their development!
Immich server up and running! Now parallel testing with the Android app. If I am satisfied it's stable, then I'll turn off sync on Google Photos and seize control of my images and videos back. Yay FOSS solutions! No cloud, no scraping, no privacy issues. I love it when a plan comes together.

Replaced the puny 8GB EMMC in my Phrozen Arco printer with a 32GB EMMC. It's late and I'm not thinking properly but it's not showing the new size. I *think* I need to just resize the partition and run resize2fs and I'm done. It can wait till tomorrow when I'm more awake :P

Watching Alien: Earth and it's fucking great. Also after watching Timothy Olyphant in this, I think if they ever did a remake of Blade Runner (not like the Blade Runner 2049 movie), he could totally play Batty (Rutger Hauer's role).

I'm not a big fan of Newsom but his latest messaging is totally on point.
Newsom: He is a failed president. Who else sends ICE at the same time while having a conversation like this? Someone who is weak, broken. His weakness is masquerading as a strength. The most unpopular president in modern history.

Back from Pennsic and still haven't unpacked my car. Pushed it hard and got in at 11pm last night. Couldn't sleep/overtired up till 4am. Slept past my alarm till about 2:30pm. Guess it's time to shower and start unloading the car. Had a great time. My body is definitely hurting though.

Back from Pennsic and still haven't unpacked my car. Pushed it hard and got in at 11pm last night. Couldn't sleep/overtired up till 4am. Slept past my alarm till about 2:30pm. Guess it's time to shower and start unloading the car. Had a great time. My body is definitely hurting though.
I want to go home. I still have so much to do before I leave bright and early on Saturday to go to Pennsic and not enough time to accomplish it all. I'm super stressed. I know everything will work out but I hate this feeling of rush rush rush.

Ugh. I am still not quite ready for Pennsic. I did manage to put grommets in my tent canvas and make up new side poles. I need to make more tensioners but I can do that on site. I have rope, shears, wood that's already drilled. I'm just stressed. The world is collapsing and I'm not relaxing. :P
