Thinking a lot about history this #holocaustrememberanceday - fascism has risen many times throughout history - always leading with division & fear. While ICE raids begin & executive orders against our trans community are signed, remember - there is power in unity.

Keep loving. Keep fighting. ❤️
Just a quick reminder that all the issues that we face under Trumpism are intended to destroy commonality and peace. Fascism divides through a torrent of terror and division. We can recognize it and fight against it. But to do so we need a liberation effort that is fully interconnected.

Amidst our normal lesson plans from the week, we decided to pivot and also make some art for art’s sake.

This project can also be done with cardboard scraps, and is one I highly recommend. ❤️

Take care of yourselves yall. Love you. And remember- you are perfect the way you are.

Reflecting on the long weekend and the inevitable hardships ahead, for marginalized groups.

We will continue to fight for the rights of our students and our community.

Remember that there is strength in unity. Keep loving, keep fighting.

Students having fun today during our annual ice fishing experiment. But, instead of fish, 🎣 we were catching ice! 🧊

The Inquiry: What reaction will the ice have to the salt? Will our string stick to the ice in the bucket?

Class Hypothesis: The salt will melt the ice making it stick to the string!
