My library has two LFLs in neighborhood parks from April-November. We go through 300 books per week. Our Friends group manages them, replenishing weekly with hot titles we receive via donations. We stock them with lots of children's books, popular paperbacks, and recent magazines.

In library school, they don't teach you about being harassed for offering books to people. They don't have classes on how to respond to people threatening you or calling you a groomer. It's hard to stay strong when under fire. Kudos to Amanda for fighting back!
