Truly, it SHOULD have stayed banned. I haven't been on TikTok in a hot minute, but decided to open it today for shits and giggles. Ugh. It's definitely gonna be a while before I open it again. #TikTokShouldHaveStayedBanned

There's no way to refresh the search page results. If I close the app and open it back up, it plays the exact video that was playing when I closed it. Bitch, I closed you. And then I had to refresh my fyp 👏🏻3 👏🏻fucking 👏🏻times just for it to get off that fucking video. What the hell is happening? My friend: I haven't been having that problem. But they are pushing a lot more religious and Republican crap. Which my algorithm should not have Me: Yeah, that's why I was trying to refresh the search results. I saw a video about how there's a trend where if you type the word "book" into the search bar then, like, the first result you see is supposed to represent your life or something to that effect. The first result was "books for Republican girlies" Fuck everything about that.

I deactivated my Facebook and Instagram last night. Deletion has to wait for now. Part of the process is that they ask you *why* you're doing it. I could've gone with multiple of their choices, but you can only select one.... So, I thought I'd be more succinct for them. #FAFO #PunchNazis #MetaSucks
The picture shows the bottom part of a page (in dark mode) in the Facebook deactivation process. It's basically the "why are you leaving?" page. You can see the last available listed option, which is "other, please explain further:". Selecting this option opens a box for you to enter your "Reason for deactivating". The reason I entered is "You support fascism! Fuck around & find out". The box is followed by a (selected) blue oval "Continue" button and a black oval "Cancel" button under it. In hindsight, which is always 20/20, I wish I said something like "Don't you mean 'Please explain to the Führer'?" But it was late, and I wasn't at my best.🤷🏻

One of those shitholes where the bartender clearly hates you. So the bartender and I were ignoring one another when someone sits next to me and he immediately says, "no. get out." And the dude next to me says, "hey, I'm not doing anything. I'm a paying customer. and the bartender reaches under the counter for a bat or something and says "out. now." and the dude leaves, kind of yelling. And he was dressed in a pink uniform I noticed. Anyway, I asked what that was about and the bartender was like "you didn't see his vest, but it was all Nazi shit. Iron crosses and stuff. You get to recognize them." And I was like oh OK and he continues. "You have to nip it in the bud immediately. These guys come in and it's always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you didn't want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too. And then THEY being friends and the friends bring friends and then they stop being cool and you realize, oh shit, this is a Nazi bar now. And it's too late because they're entrenched, and if you try to kick them out they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down." And I was like "oh damn" and he said, "Yeah, you have to ignore their reasonable arguments because their end goal is to be terrible, awful people." And then he went back to ignoring me. But I haven't forgotten that at all.
