Food allergies are all over the place in my family, and one of my cousins also has a cinnamon allergy, but ours are so uncommon that people forget about it. Fortunately, we were prepped with the epi nasal spray in case I did have a severe reaction.

I wish this was me! My cousin and aunt both brought dishes with cinnamon in it and they warned me, but forgot that the smell can trigger a reaction. I was outside until they could cover and remove the food from the serving area and my mom prepped my plate for me.

It’s really not fun asking for people to grab you food/drinks cause all I want is another slice of cake and I can’t go on the kitchen without my airways shutting.

I had the hardest time falling asleep cause I wasn't sure if the mouse would end up back in our bedroom.

Update: The mouse was found alive at 3:30 this morning and was released outside to run freely.

Now the mouse is loose in the house somewhere.
