The most bonkers part of all this is, demographically, the vast majority of MAGA voters are likely to not have a passport, and therefore only have a Real ID id.

There's only one other possible platform they can use, and it's not compatible without major/years worth of rework.
Outright replacement is impossible - the original was built in Ukraine. And I think the issue there is obvious.

This happens all the time with these goons. Multiple people have been snatched, then discovered to be US Citizens, and when they get their wallets back, everything is missing except their ID.

That answer is simple : the teachings of the religion are at odds with the actions of the administration.

It was about as naked a "here's your bauble now don't interfere with our event" bribe as is possible. FIFA didn't even try and mask it. They knew what they were doing, the whole world understands what they were doing.
