It's more of a story than a poem, but I felt like writing it.
I didn't know them personally, but it still hurts after hearing the news. Sending love to their family and close friends. 🤍
A poem/story: A new star in the sky was born today, Oh, how it shines so brightly, Especially to those who knew of it and loved it. It used to belong on Earth, Sharing joy and laughs with everyone, But one day it left, Leaving dust of memories behind. To those who knew that star, It hurts to look up at the sky. Not because its glow is too bright, But because of how much it meant to them. Despite everything, Out of thousands of stars in the sky, We'll look at you, We'll cry for you, We'll smile for you. You'll not be forgotten, Shiny star of ours. So shine as bright as you can, To remind us that you're still here, For eternity aglow. --- Rest in peace, Artemis 🤍
