ohhhhh i just realized the z gauge manufacturer is called rokuhan because Z gauge is 6.5 mm (six is 六 roku, half is 半 han)

i've kinda been doing that tbh, because i've been too lazy to refloor the hallway (i bought this place, it had carpet but it needed other work)

but it's not great, concrete wears a lot faster unless it's been treated or coated

i think i finally got my little obsession with the model trains unstuck though. i think the conclusion is that T scale is too finicky and it wouldn't be fun enough for what it costs, Z scale looks nice but is a big step up in price, that i'm not willing to spend. plus i have other shit to do

i did also notice that prices seem wayyyyy lower in japan, so i might just like. visit a hobby store when i'm over there. i was already planning to go to akihabara anyway lol. and i'll probably have space in my checked baggage

Ik spreek even voor mijzelf, maar bij Volt vergeet ik na een aantal sympathieke, sterke acties regelmatig bijna waarom ik ook alweer nooit op ze zou kunnen stemmen. Gelukkig posten ze met enige regelmaat dingen als "Alexander Klopping als Minister van Digitale Zaken??" Ben ik meteen weer genezen.
