Not to mention having whole gigabit broadband wifi and still waiting for 3 hours until headset finally updated(unskippable now and happens too frequently when you want to use it)+30 minutes for it to just be blank screen with occasional network errors until you finally see launcher

you can actually use headset, being forced locked up behind meta crap is far more annoying crap outside US than you could imagine

Being a product without hell crap policies and not lower than dirt quality (what quest became thanks to meta) is still a valid point, i bet in 3 years there will be 12mil sold valve frames and around 220k constant online in vrchat (compared to current peak 130k)

Exactly, they told that there will be minimal friction as supposedly devs will not have to do special build, just report what needs to be added to FEX to make games work (cuz adding absolutely everything to something with asynchronous availability is an issue for early start)

Dont know about their own anticheat, only heard that they were trying to reach out EAC and BattleEye to make support for valve devices…

Yeah, im just “device should fullfill its purpose on 100%” type of phylosophy follower, and im sure there will be vrc on frame standalone as literally 4 hours after announcement in open beta got build related to frame itself, hope they will allow arm cpus to be used for vrchat eventually

Like i am able to run alot in similar pipeline on mac with VMware Fusion where everything translates from windows x64 to osx arm functions but EAC doesnt work (and based on what i seen it doesnt work for CrossOver either, which has same devs as Proton)

Journalists tested on video only pcvr streaming yet, no standalone showcase (but for obvious reasons not all cpu functions/libraries got into FEX yet, and thats why developers will need to report what they need to make their games work if i got it right)
