Incheon played two games against Gimhae (K3) today.

Incheon won the first 2-1 with a brace for Mugosa. The second was 1-1 with Kim Minseok on the scoresheet.

Incheon will face the winner of the R1 game between Gimhae Jaemics (K5) and Chuncheon Citizen FC (K3) in R2 of the Korea Cup.

The match date will be announced later.

Lots of home games to start. Suwon Bluewings in R2, Eland in R4 and Busan in R5.

All games Saturday and Sunday, except Wednesday 8th October, which is during Chuseok.

Another double header took place on 11th February, when Incheon played Donga University and Hanyang University.

The Donga game finished 2-0 (Kim Seong-min, Mugosa); while the Hanyang University finished 5-0 (Shin Jin-ho, Kim Bo-seop, Kang Seong-min, trialist, own goal.)

Back in Korea, Incheon played a double-header against K3 teams Gimhae and Busan TC on 7th February. The Gimhae game finished 2-0 (Mugosa, Park Seung-ho) and the Busan TC game finished 1-0 (Kim Se-hoon).

Next, Incheon beat Daegu 3-1, with goals from Kim Bo-seop, Lim Hyung-jin and Kim Se-hoon. This game was the final Thailand-based game, taking place on 28th December.

On 24th January, Incheon beat fellow K League 2 team and neighbours Bucheon 2-0. Park Ho-min scored against his former team, before Lee Garam added a second.

Incheon played a number of friendlies over the course of the winter break. Here's a round-up:

First up, a 4-0 win over Hanyang University on 20th January.

Goals from Mugosa, Gerso, Choi Seung-gu and an own goal.

Lee Myung-joo will continue as Incheon captain, with Kim Do-hyeok, Lee Juyong, and Min Seong-jun as vice captains.

Rookie Kang Min-seong was known as "U-League Mugosa" during his time at Incheon University, and has risen through the ranks aiming to make it to the Incheon first team.

Taking the #29 shirt, it will be interesting to see how much game time he gets. Perhaps one for the future.

Striker Park Ho-min joins from Bucheon and adds height and strength to the Incheon front line. The 23-year-old started his career at Seoul, but only made one appearance before transferring. He played 35 times for Bucheon last year, scoring four goals.

Lee Ju-yong played for Incheon on loan in 2022 and returns for the 2025 season on a permanent deal.

The left back is no stranger to K League 2; he won the league with Asan Mugunghwa whilst completing his military service in 2018. Since then, he has played for Jeonbuk and Jeju.

Another player with K League 2 experience is Kim Myoung-sun. The 24-year-old defender started his career at Jeju before finding his feet at Cheongju FC.

He has played almost a hundred K League games, mostly in the second division, and was almost ever-present during his two years at Cheongju.

Lee Dong-ryul was a big part of Seoul Eland's promotion challenge last season, and has represented Korea and U20 and U23 level. The 24-year-old has appeared in 119 K League games, scoring 17 goals and getting 9 assists from the wing.

Next up is Lee Sang-ki.

Sang-ki is a versatile full-back who has previously played for Pohang and Daegu. He joins from Gwangju and was a member of their 2022 K League 2 winning squad.

Here's a thread of Incheon's transfer incomings over the winter break:

We start with Mo Barrow. Mo joins from Abha in the Saudi league. He's a winger and is best-known for his time at Jeonbuk. He's also played for Leeds, Swansea, Reading, Nottingham Forest and Blackburn in the UK.

Stefan Mugosa played twenty minutes at the weekend as Montenegro lost 2-0 to Iceland, confirming their relegation to Level C of the UEFA Nations League for next year.

They face Turkey tonight but will finish bottom of their league regardless of the result.
