Spending all that money on a MAHA ad during an event where people eat junky processed food and drink while watching grown men beat each other playing a game is certainly a choice. Gotta think approximately zero people bothered going to that website.

If you are concerned about the number of ads for AI shit during the Superbowl remember the ads were heavily .com before the .com bust. It means they have money and nothing more.

I watched Star Trek First Contact and the whole movie could have been avoided by just firing on the Borg sphere before it could go back in time. It could have been simpler if they had separated the saucer section as soon as they realized the Borg where onboard and just blew up the other half.

This is probably the most 50s sci-fi monster design I've seen. The crab claws and giant brain. They are never given a name unfortunately and you don't really get a nice clear image of one.

#NowWatching Shark Side of the Moon. It's certainly one of the movies of all time. I'm mostly impressed by the number of continuity errors it has considering it's 90% CGI by volume. Lots of reused animations too. It supposedly had a budget of $10k but I doubt that very much.

I watched all 6 and 1/2 Trancers movies. I wouldn't recommend any after 3 and not even really 3 unless you wanted more after 2. The series goes off the rails at 4 and the reboot of 6 didn't land well. The first one is a good low budget sci-fi "Christmas" movie though.

Wild to think that the weather in DC tomorrow could have a major impact on America going forward. It doesn't seem unreasonable that, if the parade is cancelled due to weather, a pouting Trump with nothing to do but watch Fox News covering the protests against him could do something dramatic.

So it seem bluesky is Twitter but just different enough to not be Twitter.
Wouldn't be surprised is elon tries some legal action against it, seems only a matter of time until it replaced old Twitter, and nothing of value will be lost.
