We have definitely changed our approach to games from and kept 6 clean sheets. We have won more games than this time last year and that is due to the change in tactics. If you really think our approach is to keep it tight and nick one I don’t know what you see at the game. Losing is always shite

I think that’s a bit harsh. We’re playing in the opposition half in almost every game. We’ve played well against many of the top teams even if we haven’t got the results. 2 of those CL teams are currently below us in the table despite winning at HDS.

Furthermore, you’re assuming that we would win with a more attacking looking fullback set up. There’s no guarantee that the opposition doesn’t outscore us. We’ve been leaky in a few games but solid in others. It’s something that has to be addressed by the summer. It’s the next priority.

Yes, I’d agree but garner is finally turning into the midfielder I hoped he would. I’d rather not sacrifice that.

I can’t disagree with that. I think that’s why we were after Kenny Tete as he was free. It’s the next priority for me and if it isn’t then there’s something wrong. I just think the lack signing a full back was a calculated gamble.

I’m not saying it is right but I can understand the logic as all our issues won’t be solved in one window or even 2, but we are moving in the right direction and we have brought in players not just for today but also for the coming seasons.

year as the main job of the defence is not to concede. I believe that as we are now playing further up the pitch and the opposition will allow us to negates the threat we had on the counter and getting behind teams like we did when Moyes took over last season

I’ve said it before. Last season the defence was solid. We couldn’t score goals so the vast majority of the recruitment was to try and bring more goals into a team that was defensively solid. The full back issue although annoying was probably one they thought they’d get away with for another
