It turned up in January 2022 for the first time I think? Only had a handful since. I'm on the edge of the Hertford hot spot, that is - about 5 miles by car but less as the moth flies 😁

That breeze last night caused the inevitable - even with temperatures hovering around 10c!

It's hard to find a complete list but there is/was also Willow Beauty & Phoenix. And why are they named after butterflies and moths - I found this from 1980 - page 3 - this I didn't know!!! southherts.camra.org.uk/wp-content/u...

I kept back 5 that looked possible but couldn't be determined by gen det. One apparently when relaxed looked good but I don't think I can consider any as Langmaids and I don't think the CMR would accept it anyway!
