As a hockey fan I hate that people who don’t know what a faceoff is or what icing is have made this tournament no longer fun…. On the most fun game. I wanted the US to win but the way they embraced the political crap makes me want them to get all the way fucked.

But one thing I feel strong about, although sad, is that I will take care of me. I know I’ll be okay, and I genuinely look forward to everyone I know who was on the wrong side of history to get fucked. They will need me way before I need them. I look forward to protecting my space from icky people.

I definitely consider living in Colorado a privilege. At least here I feel protected enough to figure out what to do, how to move forward. I feel for the ones who aren’t that lucky.

It’s really hard to know what I feel about this whole election…. Right now my biggest ick is that I’m hated as a woman more than a rapist…. That one hurts man. It really does. I didn’t choose this, he chose his actions.

I also have to say, I am so impressed how much life changes when you actually love your job. My job now is 1000% more trying than my old position but I never dread going, I love what I do. It’s changed so much about my life, both emotionally and physically. It’s truly wild.

Oh lord I’ve been absent for so long. But, at least I have something to show for it! A new job, license to be a therapist, and a new backbone for being an actual advocate in life. Love that for me. 🥰

I gave my boss 3 weeks notice I was leaving my current role…. my last day is 3/1. They emailed out TODAY that I was leaving… so that’s neat lol

I’m reading a hockey romcom book and the girl doesn’t want to date the guy cuz he’s gone so much. Instead of saying that, her red flag is that he doesn’t like mashed potatoes. Thanks to the author for validating and recognizing the power of mashed potatoes.

I’m not sure how many people here are sports inclined or have seen the Taylor swift putting Travis Kelce on the map prank, but my partner is a HUGE football fan. I’m THRIVING sending him every video of the prank I see. It never gets old. He at least thinks it’s funny too though. Thank goodness!
