How many "this is a line too far" do we have to hear before things change? And I understand arresting a sitting Senator is bad, but for the rest of us, it sounds like it doesn't matter unless it's someone important.

My library system bought 31 copies of @chuckwendig.bsky.social new book, Staircase in the Woods. All are out and I'm number 27 on the wait list. Hopefully they are fast readers!

My hamster died this weekend. It was expected. I have adult children. I have 3 cats, a dog, there are reptiles and fish in the house. And yet I'm sadder than I expected that she died. She was sweet. I held her for the last bit of her life. That little bit of fluff was a little bit of happiness.
