Match 23 of 25/26 -Ipswich Town (A)
Another match with plenty of promise, decent play & chances, but undone by intercepted passes, poor defending, & running out of steam.
Now treating these away days as a day out, so nice to enjoy a couple of hours in Bury St Edmunds including a walk with Dad. #swfc

Woman in the park: She was 96.
Her friend: 96. I guess she was ready to go.
Woman: Are you kidding? She ordered new curtains last week. When I called her and asked, ‘Are they nice?’ she said, ‘No they're not. I won’t use that company next time I need new curtains.’

The Team Manvers annual Christmas fairy lights run. A lovely evening with lots of beeps of support from cars along the route.
Two of us adding to the @runup2christmas.bsky.social mileage and sporting festive attire from 4 different years events.

Match 22 of 25/26 - Derby County (H)
Christmas decorations up but a really poor performance against a very poor Derby side.
The takeover can't come quick enough; I'm now at the stage of going to matches expecting a loss & it not hurting in the slightest when it happens which is a weird feeling #swfc

First race since falling & breaking a wrist in July, halfway into a 50K run.
My comeback has been hampered by injury; but lovely to be able to run the Percy Pud 10k again.
My time of 64:50, is nearly 10 mins slower than my PB, but faster than I was expecting, and I met Sheffield royalty. 💚 #Running

Match 21 of 25/26 - Blackburn Rovers (A)
Match abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch 😏
I got soaked on the walk back to the car, and the drive home on the motorway was horrendous, but at least it's a weekend watching #swfc play them not losing. 💙🦉

Months of injuries and niggles starting with a broken wrist in July but lovely to manage 3 runs in 3 days without any ill effects.
A great run around the snowmen of Doncaster yesterday followed by support crew duties at Doncaster 10k, and my first run of @runup2christmas.bsky.social this evening. 🥰

Match 20 of 25/26 (didn't go to Millwall)- Preston North End (H)
An undeserved loss.
Easy to complain about set piece defending, referee bottling it & missed penalty.
Instead I'll focus on an enjoyable game to watch & plenty of positives - good going fwd, scoring 2 & lots of good performances. #swfc

Match 19 of 25/26 - Sheffield United (H)
The result I expected, but I'd hoped the team would give it a better go.
Not the best day; windscreen wiper came off, so drive home wasn't ideal, and suffered with a migraine all day so could barely see out of one eye, which may have been a blessing #swfc

Match 18 of 25/26 - Southampton (A)
Mistakes cost us again, but couldn't ask for more effort. Lots of tired looking players after another double fixture week.
A good couple of days away despite the result. Fans a credit once again - amazing numbers & non-stop support despite the predicament #swfc 💙

Match 17 of 25/26 - Norwich City (H)
Probably a fair point. Had chances to win it with more composure and the rub of the green from the officials, but Norwich had great chances too.
Great home atmosphere and weirdly bright on the Kop. Never realised how dark the Kop had been until tonight! #swfc

Match 16 of 25/26 - West Bromwich Albion (A)
A well deserved point, and hoping the rainbow is a sign of better days ahead. 💙🌈🦉
Another win on the coach bingo too, so £47 better off. 🎉 #swfc

Tonight's #LetsLiftTheCurfew run / walk with Team Manvers supporting the @thisgirlcanuk.bsky.social campaign to promote a safer environment for women to engage in physical activities, especially in the winter months.
Great to see so many people attending.

Match 15 of 25/26 - Oxford United (H)
An all too familiar performance & result where we started badly, but battled back brilliantly & couldn't get a result; but the score was immaterial today.
An historic day & hopefully the start of getting our club back.
A day full of emotion. Fans superb. 💙 #swfc

Match 14 of 25/26 - Middlesbrough (H)
Another match boycotted and a loss which could've easily been a draw.
Great to see so many fans stand together and boycott for the greater good.
I hope the man whose name covers the seats gets the message and leaves. Could see my seat on the Kop too. #swfc ⚫🟡

Match 13 of 25/26 - Charlton Athletic (A)
Our luck in winning £50 on the coach bingo, & Charlton House cafe undercharging for lunch, then telling us to keep the money and enjoy the day in London when we told them, didn't last into the game.
Proud of team & fans & lovely to meet Bob Bolder #swfc ⚫🟡

Match 12 of 25/26 - Coventry City (H)
I feared the worst after the effort of a threadbare squad on Tuesday, and was unfortunately proved right.
Sorry for the team who are doing the best they can but don't have the squad depth or quality.
Perhaps lino was blinded for the offside by the Cov shirts 😡

I'm finding it tough coming back from injury and getting blown about and drenched in Storm Amy really didn't help this morning.
At least it dried up for a while and I caught a rainbow.
Note to self: keep turning up and it will get easier! #running #StormAmy

Match 11 of 25/26 - Birmingham City (A)
An injury time draw which felt like a loss. Great effort and some lovely play which deserved a win. With a looming points deduction it's unlikely to matter in the end anyway. ⚫🟡🦉
Nice to see a reminder of happier days "Tricky Trev's Barmy Army" 💙

Match 10 of 25/26 - QPR(H)
Another Black and Gold day. The protest is growing with so much more colour on show this week, and the kiosks closing early a sign that boycotting is working. ⚫🟡
A much better home performance especially from the young lads; a point the minimum they deserved. #swfc

Match 9 of 25/26 - Portsmouth (A)
First away game missed whilst at a lovely wedding in Hampshire.
Had to get updates when I could; brilliant for the Owls to get a first win of the season #swfc
