Live in North US all my life. Moved south for 7 years, just moved back. South, sprinkle of snow, everything shuts down for days. Here, a foot of snow may close the schools for a day. I like the former better.

It matter to me. It’s currently 16 f here in Pennsylvania, that’s below 0 c, well below, for weeks. I need out. We also live in a land of perpetual gloom, lots of precipitation, but our turns to snow & ice too often.

Here in NEPA it’s crap allll week, 20s are about average. Will stay probably like that all month. Joy….
