you guys we got an ORGAN for FREE on craigslist so now we can play the ORGAN in our basement

A working Wurlitzer organ in the finished half of LJ’s basement. A small lamp sits on the right side. Vintage high heels (from an old Salvation Army uniform) hang on the white wood panel wall. Also a portrait of LJ’s spouse’s grandparents. And a painting of a windmill painted by her great grandmother. And a picture of her grandmother’s graduating class, slightly too far from the middle painting but it somehow works, visually.

okay i’m not saying i’ve learned everything at my middle age but i do think that maybe the key to happiness is having food, water, shelter, some degree of financial stability, good friends, and the wherewithal to slow down and feel time
