My ER nurse friend over the years has reported:
beer bottles--apparently suction develops in there with hollow objects inserted open end first,
flashlights,
glasses cases,
rolled up ziplock bags of various drugs and such,
and every kind of dildo on the market.

We've called it many things over the past 70 years--"Chinook", Pineapple Express, Cyclone, Hurricane, and Big Fucking Windy Wet Thing. The term Atmospheric River is new-ish for the older folks in the PNW.

We should have gone full Social Democracy like the Scandinavians did when we had a Democratic majority in both Houses, the White House, and a less partisan SCOTUS back in the 60s under LBJ. But no, we got Nixon-ed, then the GOP crushed Carter with Reaganomics and it's been a death spiral ever since.
