Been a minute since I've done any serious sewing.
I laid out the fabric and positioned the pattern pieces, then remembered I'd forgotten to press the crinkly fabric.
Got the iron out and was halfway through pressing when I remembered, nope, still wrong. Gotta prewash first.

Next week is my 4yos first book week at kindy and she wants to dress up as a pterodactyl. A red one. The red is deeply important to her. None of the costumes in shops are red.

This is the blanket I made for my new baby. It's the 6 day kids blanket in the Aussie Confetti variation made using cotlin yarn. I am really happy with how it turned out and baby has had many pram rides snuggled under it.

This week I've changed my daily writing goal from being word count focused to just being 'creative time' focused (ie can be world building or anything). And wow this is much better.

I like to update social media on my monthly writing goals (accountability) only I haven't met them even slightly the last few months
Then I remembered I'm new to bluesky and can just pretend I'm starting next month
