we DO know there are more filed cases than there were after no-cause was largely banned, and cases have increased each year post-pandemic emergency. There are more (court-filed) evictions now than there were last year!

We do not know the ratio of notices to court cases and how it has changed since SB608--there have been several other legal changes that make a difference for the likelihood of a court filing (counted) vs exit at termination (un-countable) data and explainers at www.evictedinoregon.com

We can't! Because notice of termination is not (and never has been) recorded. Only cases filed at court are visible as data. Unseen are both termination notices (formal, part of process but unrecorded, may still be improper under LL-T law) and illegal actions (from informal comms to lockout).
