Family, fencing, games, & music. I rarely post or retweet things.
That price screams suspect.

Slapping out prototypes and bare bones functional projects was nice, losing the experience gained making said prototypes never added up when pivoting that to a paid, maintainable project.

It was humorous to me how every senior+ coder I worked with went through the same cycle.

New: "Wow, this is cool."
A weekish in: "This saves so much time"
A month in: "good, but a lot of time fixing after"
A few months in: "I don't use it at all anymore as it's a waste of time"

Sad we missed you, though I got wrangled into "watch kids at the playground duty" through a lot of our time there.

Same. Great turnout and good vibes all around.

World Market has most of their line.

They're pretty spicy. I generally add a bit of siracha to ramen, and theirs absolutely doesn't need any.

Someone overseas doxxed my wife and my info from it, after I left them a bad book review on Amazon.

Death threats, swatting, endless CoD deliveries, spoofed calls as local PD to family that we'd died in car wrecks, fake fires to jobs, etc.

We deleted it after and I'll never have it on there again.

*100k+ followers elsewhere...

I understand that big numbers sound good on the resume to people that don't know better, but meaningful follows > number bigger.

Convince teams and social media teams that their 100k+ followers means little when 98% of them are bot accounts.

It has an exception for emergency care.

With that, the entire thing is absolute nonsense from top to bottom. It's an anti-dei bill with some "don't let nurses put evil medicine or science in my kid without permission" thrown in for fun.

Jokes on her, as I'm currently enjoying some nice tasseled loafers that she doesn't like."

Me: "That looks nice"

My wife to me on that type of shoe: "Please don't wear weird shoes."

Most FedEx end of route deliveries are done basically like a franchise. Those random franchises can have some sketchy delivery time/amount requirements.

That's the thing. It assumes you have something already this side gig will boost. If you don't, or if politics itself is your income, then it's not a viable path for them.

Practical/skeptical me says there's no money in that. Both in the position's pay, and potential campaign size funding.

100% yes. Have seen it repeatedly over the years.

Their APIs were absolutely awful back when I worked with them too.

Per my source that worked on that project: they were told and chose to ignore it hoping inspection wouldn't catch it. Same with other things.

Been a good 15+ years since I have been asked, but even then my response was something along the lines of "You're kidding me, right?" or "I grew up in Bible Belt, East Texas. What do you think?"

I just went with a basic silicon one. Got tired of taking my regular one on and off for the gym and such.

Exact same here. I had to push myself to even finish eternal, and had no desire to touch it again afterwards.
