This is odd.

I was just on My "X" feed page a few hours ago, when a clip of "THE HORROR OF PARTY BEACH" came up and was being discussed. I've not seen that film in decades. I'm going to find a download for it. I've been ill for the last few days. In a mood to watch something goofy.

Met Buckler at a NYC Comic-Con some years back. One of the NICEST Comic Pros I've ever met. He and his Wife (?) even asked Me to sit with them at their table for a bit. I was just sorry I did not have the funds to buy his art.

BTW,
Allow Me to add a few of My Favorite Buckler DC Covers...

I wish DC would bring back "Asshole" Superman for a run. He just really didn't give a S**T back in those days.

People need to stop using terms like, "Poor Training" for these ICE agents.

They are doing EXACTLY what Moron 45/47, Miller, Bondi, Bovino, etc want them to do. Essentially DEI for Out Of Shape (primarily MAGA) WHITE Guys who want to live out their Civil War fantasies.

Can we please stop using the term, "poorly trained" as an excuse for the behavior of these "agents"?

They are doing exactly what they were "hired" to do. Nothing more than (mostly) White Guys living out their Racist KKK Fantasies under ambiguous legalities.

Just ask Black Folks.

And for those out of the know of that Comic Book lore. I actually had this issue when I was a kid in the early 70s. I was about 9 years of age...

If CNN were really smart, they would go back to do what originally made the network groundbreaking 40+ years ago. Just tell the News straightforward. Domestically/Internationally, expounding on (national/local) human interest stories.

Its current media place is now nothing short of "schizophrenic"

I never realize how much I miss these HARVEY Comic Books until I see these covers posted on various Social Media.

MMMAAANNNNNN...

I wish we had Artists like Schaffenberger today. I grew up on his "Cartoony" style. His facial expressions were practically bar none.

His Inking work (especially with Don Newton and Keith Giffen) was also exemplary.

Further Proof of how selling off the stock I had in NetFlix over a year ago was a MISTAKE!!!

Oh Well.

Now I'm rooting for them.

Whomever has the rights to those 70s newspaper comic strips needs to collect them in some omnibus form.

Though Obama has lost Me over the years,

You can't deny the fact that Dude still has it when it comes to "The Slams".

No one plays the "Political Dozens" like Him.

Didn't Mark Waid some years ago refer to this era of Superman as the "Super-Doofus" period?

I still use Twitter to follow Black History, Comic Book related, various Music/Film, and WNBA posts. I have limited the Political stuff. Which has been very poisonous these days.

A lot of those I followed haven't transferred to BlueSky (as of yet).

Right-Wing folks always tries to pin perversions on Liberals/The Left.
But it's always those folks who turn out to be the biggest purveyors of what they in public consider Liberal Perversions.

And in this world of Social Media and The Internet, they still delusionally believe that no one will know.

Had this HC Collection when it came out in the late '90s. I'll have to see if I still have it. When I moved back to NYC (from Portland, OR) in late '03, I ended up losing some rare stuff (LPs, books, etc) in transit.

This was one of My Favorite ATLAS Comics. Such a sad 3-issue run.

I was about 13 when My (late) Grandfather took Me to see this film during its initial release here in NYC.

It's still My Favorite Scorcese flick.

Further Proof that (White) America will always love its Nazis, Traitors, and Pedophiles.

This issue was a MASTERPIIECE in Comic Book Horror to say the least. Still has lasting impact 40 years later.

Matt,

Thanks for posting this. I've not heard the Daddy Livingston original since the late 70s, as The Specials began making their trek through The States (I still kick Myself for missing that show here in NYC at The (old) Ritz).
