Great article, Judd. It's odd that they waited so long to fire him but better now than after he screwed up another draft. I just want to see them play in a damn Superbowl before I die! I'm 44 and am starting to wonder if it'll happen. Kwesi set this team back years.

I knew he was a bad hire as soon as he traded the 12 pick in 2022 and I saw the compensation. Then the Lewis Cine pick reinforced it.

Kwesi set the Vikings back years. I knew they were in trouble his first draft when he passed on Kyle Hamilton, made a horrible trade back and drafted Lewis Cine.

I'm so glad they finally got rid of Kwesi. That said, I think it's a bit early to say that they picked the wrong guy. A lot of people thought the Jets picked the wrong guy too and now he's playing in the Superbowl. They just screwed up in thinking JJ was ready to take over.

Oh yeah, you're not wrong there. The Jets are a dumpster fire and have been forever. But at least they have a title.

That's a tough one. The Vikings have had way more regular season success but the Jets have a championship.....

I'm not out on JJ yet but he clearly wasn't close to being ready to start in the NFL. it's a total organizational failure that they just handed him the job and let Sam walk

As a Vikings fan, I'm happy for Sam but man it's painful to watch at the same time. Kwesi and KOC should both be fired for not recognizing that JJ wasn't ready to play and letting Sam walk.

I would think the GM deserves more blame. It's not the coach's fault they didn't have any receivers
