It’s a start but these single arm trials even with SMI are really just a first step. Hopefully it’s been followed up by RCTs

It may be that it is a thing that works very well for some people. In this study, which was pretty rigorous, it only had a small effect on average, but everybody’s body is different. jamanetwork.com/journals/jam...

Look I would too but only but there are a lot of psychologist and psychiatrist who care about these issues and would love it if that ended up being the cure. Not to mention patients it’s not that we are stupid or there is some shadowy conspiracy against keto. These are just really complex problems.

I mean there’s always a possibility it treats schizophrenia and not treatment-resistant depression but it seems farfetched at this stage. What’s the theory for why it would?

There’s an entire subset of people who cannot reconcile “they were nice to me” and “this person’s history of behavior is indefensible.” They’re expecting people to wear “bad guy” uniforms and behave like Emperor Palpatine
