People put up with his pro billionaire crap because they thought he was also pro-LGBT. I didn’t like the compromise on economic issues then, but not I am just bewildered that he is still such a darling of liberals

I tried to do the map, but I ended up overthinking. Hard to do it by state: take Arizona, for instance, I would consider living in Flagstaff, if I could find work, but not in Tucson. and hard pass on the Phoenix area

Or what if you take into account that a disproportionate number of accidents are caused by drunks (which Waymo won’t eliminate bc Lyft is cheaper) or drag racing kids (which you won’t eliminate wo a ban on human drivers. Dream on)?

TBF, there are some studies that indicate that this is true. But you still are not comparing like with like. How does Waymo compare if you only compare it to cars with collision avoidance tech, etc? Or to cars with functioning brakes and tires with good tread FTM?

Seems to be largely based on what David Chalmers has said. What do people on this thread think of him? I’m only vaguely familiar with his work, but I believe that he is a philosopher, not a scientist. Nothing wrong with philosophy, but it’s not neuroscience
