I don't think we should calm down. We need to recognize, that the Democrats are woefully underequiped to take on maga. It needs massive changes now. Schumer needs to step back from leadership. The seven traitors need - at least metaphoricaly - drawn, hanged and quartered.

Well that explains the statisticaly unlikely percentage of trans people in my feed. Happy to have you.

In a functioning party guy Schumer would have nothing to do with the leadership after 2016. He was part of the group that pushed Hillary in the primaries, he was involved in many tactical decisions in the campaign, and they ended up loosing. You tried, you failed, make space for someone else.
November 10, 2025 at 5:49 PM
At least in one case they voted for a Democrat, that Schumer refused to publicly endorse, which on it's own should be a reason for him to resign.
November 10, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Do you think there is any use in reminding people of how bad Trump is, if they cannot trust that the Democratic leadership has the gritt or the cunning to beat him? You think the average voter is willing to risk his cosy live by opposing Trump, if his best hope is this wet blanket of a man?
November 10, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Concentrate on the things you can change. Can the democratic party replace Donald Trump right now? I don't think so. Can they replace Chuck Schumer? Absolutely!

Trump is ignoring existing law, that would fund SNAP. What makes you think a new law would force him to fund SNAP?

Even if it wasn't coordinated: In a situation like this it's his job to make sure no one breaks.
November 10, 2025 at 2:17 PM
The outrageous thing is: It probably isn't. In a normal political party, this guy would have had to resign in 2016 after the candidate he pushed lost the election. Political leaders surviving several abysmal election results is not something that should ever happen. But Dems are to weak to act.

I'd rather see this as an argument for the Dakotas to not exist...

Ich habe gehört, Jens Spahn kennt da jemanden...

I think he wore the rags so people wouldn't recognize him. It's about revealing himself as the king.

There's a good chance, that his dick might have helped people recognice him, as training naked together was a thing the greek men did quite often.

The median voter is an idiot. The leadership arround Schumer failed twice to convince the idiot to not vote for Trump and made it emberasingly close one time. There is no way to change the median voter, at least not in the immediate future. But the democratic leadership can be changed.

As part of the leadership of the dems, he lost an election against donald trump and he didn't step down for someone more competent. Then he almost lost a second election against donald trump, and he didn't step down. Finaly, he lost again. Everything Trump does, he might as well done himself.

No, but apparently she isn't a woman... I mean HE isn't a woman, sorry.

So? We just back down, every time it gets difficult? We reward the Republicans for their terrible deeds? We let them use poor people as leverage? At this point, we might as well just starve, because there is no hope for a better future.
November 10, 2025 at 8:37 AM
How can you blame them, if they saw Schumer voting against the party six months ago without suffering any consequences. A weak leadership breeds a weak party.
November 10, 2025 at 8:31 AM
It's more like "We made an amazing deal: Lord Killdude will keep his Volcano, and in a month we will have a vote in a Lord Killdude's supporter majority parlament, about shoving less people into the volcano. Also Lord Killdude might not honor the outcome of the vote."

Und dann auf der anderen Seite jammern, dass man so viele ausländische Arbeitskräfte braucht... unsere Politik ist manchmal echt bescheuert.
November 10, 2025 at 7:09 AM
It doesn't matter. Senators defying the party line in a time like this is unaccaptable and a direct result of Schumer's weak leadership. He needs to resign.
November 10, 2025 at 6:57 AM
Even if it is not a ploy, it's a result of his weak leadership that any Democrats dare to defy the party at a time like this. He needs to resign.
