What oath? He raised his hand but touched no Bible that Melania held for him. He made no real oath.

No lies. Interpretation. He did what he did and she felt raped. His actions fit the definition of rape.

Defend him all you want. He defamed Carroll for telling the truth. Even you acknowledge he sexually assaulted her.

“Rape is a type of sexual assault involving sexual intercourse, or other forms of sexual penetration, carried out against a person without their consent”. Definition of rape. Just because the jury wimped out does not make it not rape. I never said he was found guilty of rape.

“The federal jury implicitly found that Trump deliberately and forcibly penetrated Ms. Carroll with his fingers in the 1990s. As a result, it found him liable for sexually abusing her. It also found Trump liable for defaming Carroll in 2022 when he denied her allegations.”
Rape, not “touch”.

Rape is sexual assault. Quit hiding behind legalese.

You know how absurd that is? E. Jean Carroll knows she was raped. Because the penal code of NY state has a narrow definition of what rape is that does not mean it is not rape. Perhaps you have not had the experience of someone forcing themselves on you.

No “need” - it is what it is.

And it was a rape trial but the jury opted for sexual abuse. “Despite Carroll’s claims that Trump had raped her, they noted, the jury stopped short of saying he committed that particular offense. Instead, jurors opted for a second option: sexual abuse.”

“A judge has now clarified that this is basically a legal distinction without a real-world difference. He says that what the jury found Trump did was in fact rape, as commonly understood.”
So when we call him a rapist it is because he is. In the real world. As commonly understood.
