For the rest of my life I will never understand how MAGA is so furious about Dr. Fauci, who saved many lives, being pardoned by President Biden, but they're thrilled about January 6th thugs, who beat cops with flagpoles, being pardoned by trump.

If you’d told me on Jan 6th 2021 that the man responsible for that horrific attack would end up returning to the office he tried to steal that day, and that he’d do so after calling the attackers “heroes” & “hostages” he was going to pardon, I’d have thought you were out of your damn mind.

And yet…

There’s an awful lot of “it’s over” and “we won’t survive this” going around. I’m not naive to the danger, I’m just not convinced these people are capable of destroying everything and I’m convinced there are plenty of good, capable, committed people who are not going to just roll over and take it.

So let me get this straight.

If you apply for a job at a grocery store, you have to undergo a background check.

But, if you apply to be Director of National Intelligence, you don't?

Got it.

No matter what happens, he's STILL a convicted felon.
