The tragedy of Starmer is the "Cuckoo" complex: a kid who came from little, rose to the top in every job, fought to protected the vulnerable, yet feels he must inhabit a borrowed political identity to lead.

The UK should neither confront nor capitulate to President Trump, but pursue a principled, pragmatic third way, defending liberal values calmly, choosing cooperation where it advances mutual interests, and refusing unproductive extremes that would only impose unnecessary costs on Britain.
