I am so tired of seeing stories headlined “we are at a crossroads” or similar language. We are not. We have crossed the Rubicon. Democracy is over, time for the funeral.

Exactly. I am so sick of hearing “but the midterms” or “he will die” or whatever nonsense people say when they fail to see that the entire power structure has fallen to this. It won’t matter when he dies. We have fascism. Thus my handle on bluesky— we left, this ain’t getting fixed.

The prefix “neo” has no place here. So embarrassed for my coastie friends.

Another good reason to have moved to Italy.

Cancelled after the deluge of outrages. First thing I did after moving to dc was subscribe to the great Washington Post 35 years ago, right after Meg Greenfield ran an op-ed I wrote, of which I was so proud. I still read the online headlines to remind myself of why I no longer subscribe.

Last time my team was not in the basement… what a fantastic ride it was. Went to spring training the following year at the stadium they share with the astros and watched them play each other just before covid hit

Why there will be no election in 2026

It matters not a bit if people call it something or not. It is fascism and it is dictatorship and failing to name it changes nothing. This ends very badly and not soon

I love my long-ago Trial Advocacy professor. I am so proud to have studied under such a magnificent teacher.
