I actually do remember Senator Collins making that pledge. It was thirty years ago and anyone under 48 would not have even been a voter in 1996. Ultimate Democratic candidate can certainly find more recent issues to use against Collins. The recent Janet Mills commercial is a great example.

Anecdotal evidence only - back in June of 2001 (three months before 9/11), we crossed the bridge going from Windsor to Detroit. It was early afternoon, hardly rush hour, and it still took two hours to cross. It seems pretty obvious that a second bridge was needed than and is needed now.

There are 14 states that do not require ID at the polling place in order to vote. In Maine, I have to provide my street address when I vote. The clerk verifies and then hands me a ballot. The system works well.

Same thing happened in a small area of Maine on December 23. I dug out my car from under 16 inches at the Brunswick Amtrak station. For what it's worth, NewsCenter Maine meteorologists came damn close to nailing the forecast for today's Norlun event in northeastern Mass.

Odd that the change after the push poll came from the definite Mills and definite Platner numbers. I would have expected undecideds to be more susceptible to the push messaging.

Hypothetically, if I were not a citizen and a citizenship question were included in the census, if the current environment remained and either Felon 47 remained in office or was succeeded by a MAGGOT, why would I even complete the survey?

Thanks for posting this. It's been a little discouraging to hear the criticism of Governor Mills at some of the anti-ICE protests recently. I have nothing but the utmost respect for her for the way she has stood up for her state against # 47.

Back in the late 70s, I placed a telephone order from an out of state supplier. I was told that they do not ship out of the country. Fast forward to 1991 and our honeymoon cruise. We were seated at a table with Bulls fans from Chicago. They placed Maine roughly where Washington state is.

You are 100% correct. I'll patiently await a response from Representative Golden. Exactly what happened in Minneapolis is unclear. We know that Homeland Security lies through their teeth. What is 100% certain is this tragedy would not have occurred without the presence of ICE.

She doesn't see the rationale because there is none. She could use some more diplomatic language than "Keep ICE thugs out of Maine" and earned a modicum of respect. Keep the ICE thugs out of MA, RI, CT, VT and the remaining states as well.
