Yes, I have seen many of them too. @johnfea1.bsky.social has a good roundup from a diverse range and the 'theobros' are well-represented on that list.

I think it's safe to say she has already lost her humanity if this is how she is responding to an unjust killing.

The fact that the #courtevangelicals can't muster the courage to speak out against another apparent unjustified killing says a lot about the narrowness of their "Pro-Life" ethic.

The strangest part of this era? Watching people trade their peace of mind for a siege mentality. We’ve been sold this idea that the country is under attack, turning every little hiccup into an existential crisis. It’s hard to watch

Stuart Stevens, who was a strategist for Romney wrote a book titled "It Was All A Lie" acknowledging the reality and Tim Miller of the Bulwark wrote a similar book too.

Exactly! These are people who have worshipped at the altar for Reaganism since they were teenagers and haven't had any real jobs outside of GOP politics.

I think some of them have but many others can't seem to bring themselves to acknowledge this astute reality because their GOP identity has been such an integral part of their public and professional lives.

I can definitely see Spanberger on a presidential ticket. Beshear seems to be the best positioned but I don't know if his nice persona and lack of "rizz" will work in our current rage-filled era. Newsom has that lane but he doesn't have national appeal IMHO
