ngl i feel like its mostly the eng fandom thats like this... jp and cn seem to be much more "loyal" for some reason

also you're right, it's best to uplift the people we have as much as we can. i don't usually read fics that much (too busy trying to write my own) but i'm trying to make time for that

i feel like everyone's after the next new shiny thing so it's like... there's another element of why even bother posting anything if no one is going to respond? :/ so these days i just stick to my own friends on discord

yeah there's that too... i guess it can be a little harder to connect because you need interests to align too... like im enjoying nod krai in genshin right now but im still stuck permanently in wrlt brainrot for my ships and idk the few times i tried talking about them, there wasn't much response

there's just nowhere to go anymore... most of my friends who i shared interests with have moved on to other things and a lot of the big fandom voices have gone away. idk its all so bleak

imo tiktok did ruin a lot of things.... a lot of folks use it these days and i'm just not zoomer enough to enjoy it. twitter is so miserable, all everyone wants to do is fight and engage in discourse. tumblr is there but it feels so isolated from every other platform. reddit is filled with dudebros

idk its just so confusing because like zhong/chi is still surviving & very much alive despite having no interactions for like 4 years & yet wrio/lette gets content together consistently but the english fandom feels like its fading ? its funny because in cn & jp, they're still very crazy about it

you're one of the few wriolette artists who has been here from the very beginning and still making content... please never die i love your art so much

im just sad because i feel like fandom was thriving 2 years ago and now its just slowly dissolving away. a lot of people just dont want to engage anymore and/or have moved on to other things :(
