for context, i usually aim for around 10,000 words per chapter. there are shorter ones (looking at you, chapter 1, at 4,218 words), but this will by far be the longest chapter for anything i've ever written. i didn't think i'd surpass the updated chapter 5 (14,108 words) for a while, but here we are

chapter 10 of Grin and Bear It is shaping up to be absolutely massive. I'm 17,580 words into the chapter as of right now, and i'm on section 3/5 of my planned outline.

we're covering sooooo much ground in this chapter, and i can't wait for you to see it.
