Work has been so insanely busy the last month. I am so physically tired, and my illness has really flared up. I was even stuck in a mediation from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM without any formal « break » so I couldn’t actually leave for food because we never knew when the mediator would be back.

It makes me sad when I see people I highly respect sharing blatant misinformation and some of the most hateful rhetoric I’ve ever seen - then simultaneously calling themselves “empaths.”

Can someone tell me if $95 (before tip) is a good price for hard gel nails with only 3 nails having designs? I haven’t gotten my nails done in a long time, and I want to make it a regular thing while keep expectations reasonable.

My bank was supposed to issue me a replacement debit card earlier in the month because mine literally expires today… Crickets…. Nothing in the mail… First time they’re really dropped the ball since 2014….

At this point, The Other Place TM has become a spot where I repost random stuff I find relevant. Everything going on with social media makes me wary for the future of group communication. But it’s tough to opt out when so much of modern social life is dependent on maintaining social media accounts.
