June 4th is our official 2nd anniversary, and I can't wait for many more

I don't know i just love him. I'm so, so greatful everyday. Thankful for the circumstances that led up to us being together. I could literally wax poetic all day about him

Afterwards we went out for dinner and it was amazing.

It was super hot out and afterwards we went to get water from a coffee place and had a laugh over the barista going like "5 HOURS??? FOR FUN???" While we're just giggling and being dorks.

We went on a 6 hour walk the other day. We were originally going to the pool down the street from our apartment complex, but they were closed for rec swimming. So instead of it ruining our day? We went on a hike at a local park and had a wonderful time.

I love that he cries with me. I love that he's trying so hard every single day. I love that he's not afraid to be emotional, despite how much of a "tough guy" he tries to be in his daily. I love that we can talk together about literally nothing and anything

He rambles on about his favorite subjects and would give the shirt off his back to help someone out. He's so protective of his mom and sibling, and since we got together, me as well.

Sometimes we talk about kids, marriage, and a house. We live in an apartment together with my little cat and he's always been so sweet with her since day 1. She's terrified of people other than me, and he's the only other safe person for her.

He brings me drinks when I'm sick, he makes dinner, he's always so thoughtful. I've never felt this safe and at home with someone EVER. We're figuring things out one day at a time but I can legitimately see a future with him

He helped me heal and has always been such a safe space for me. Even when we have disagreements, we can always just cuddle and talk it out calmly.

He helped me get out of a really, really toxic relationship. Like y'know the recent thing around someone ruining their relationship over minecraft? That was my daily-weekly-monthly routine with my ex
