But the worse part is when you think someone's writing is speaking to your soul. And they turn out to be horrible people.
It's not about the number of books. It's about the emotional impact.

It's not our fault we felt empathy. It's not our fault we were fooled and manipulated.

It's tough when you are ND and you like immersing yourself into things that are related. I read many many different books when I was younger. But occasionally I will hyperfixate on a series or an author. Those hurt so much more, even when the hyperfixation is over.

That's terribly ignorant. Plenty of horrible women have written books too. No group is exempt from humanity's shitty behaviour.
