Calling bereaved men:
will you help my colleagues to improve the support we offer to deathbed companions?
Volunteer by email at [email protected]
All bereaved voices welcome, but the researchers are especially short of responses from men.
Please share.

@thameswater excelling yourselves again. My housebound 88 year old mum has had no water in her village for 4 days. Finally spotted a man walking up her drive who'd dumped 6 2l bottles on her doorstep which she had to call him back to lift into the house and open one as she can't. No duty of care?

Thoughts on Black Friday?
We're resisting the temptation to buy new kit - seeing that some 22 billion pairs of trainers are chucked into landfill every year, and 100 billion new garments are produced annually.
We're looking to reuse, repair and recycle where possible.

An Evening with Katerina Johnson-Thompson at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall with added John Barnes. Kat completely played down the struggles she over came to achieve gold at Doha and silver in Paris. What an athlete with an amazing team behind her.

Switching just 1 trip a day from 🚗 to 🚴 or 🚶‍♂️ = almost 30% less transport CO2 for the ave UK urban resident. If 1 in 5 did this in 🇪🇺 it’d cut emissions from all 🚗 travel in 🇪🇺 by 8%. The potential impact of active travel on CO2 could be huge

This gets our 🐐 as well. Needless nudging to buy new shoes.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Or are you ok with this?

I’d create a poll but there’s no option for one at the moment.
I love Strava but this really annoys me. 🤯

I don’t need to reward myself with new shoes (but might reward myself with coffee and cake).

Email title “Time for Some New Shoes” doesn’t even ask a question. It’s a statement. But not a fact.

Nudges like this can misinform & drive the wrong behaviours.
