I honestly don't think the Cybermen have been creepier. Surprised they take such a back seat in their 1st outing. Don't get me wrong, they don't get lost. It's just they don't seem the sole focus. Decent story though & Hartnell's regeneration is iconic #DoctorWho

Very much feels like a story ahead of it's time. Hell, all that's missing from this is The Brigadier & UNIT & you've got a early 70's story. Dodo is very quickly written out of this one but is replaced by Ben & Polly. Who I quite like. Recommended #DoctorWho

A lot of missing episodes inbetween the last story, so the jump to having Dodo instead of Vicky is a little jarring. Wouldn't be surprised if the decline of Satellite 5 across multiple centuries from Eccleston's era wasn't influenced by this story. It's fine, just fine #DoctorWho

Cool seeing Daleks in London & Hartnell's goodbye to Susan is very touching. However, this one runs out of steam very quickly imo. Probably doesn't help that this was the story I watched on a long haul flight to Sydney so probably should give it another go #DoctorWho
