My own peak complexity is likely this particular entry. At the time I felt it was a key insight, and spent quite a bit of time pinning it down in words and pictures, but I've lost comprehension, like a boat with Scully in it moving further from the shore.

I created a diagram of #imcr (Using Graph Stack Text and Logical Map tools, of course):

Quick status vid on Logical Map Technical Reference. I'll roll in "Idempotent Monte Carlo Replication" #imcr as I figure it out. #lmtr

This amazing piece of hardware has survived decades. It was considered garbage in 2004. It has an old Fujitsu/Siemens Pentium 3 motherboard that just won't die. I'm using it as an edge case to test my software. The web apps fail because it won't even do SSE2, but I can extract Floppy PNGs just fine.

What gives me the right to comment on complex data and material supply chains? Well, I started building this homebrew #z80 computer in 1980 using point-to-point solder. #retrocomputing #homebrewcomputer #blinkenlights

There is something satisfying about listening to XMMS with a Winamp classic skin on my 1U edge case machine for #lmtr .

I got the toolchain working from Markdown to PDF & HTML using #pandoc . I'm OCD about them looking the same. This doc is easy to add as I go along... and my-o-my, there is a lot of detail to lay down.

#Servo will mostly render logical maps. The problem is when I adorn the nodes with #d3 (which has to find the node to modify). I'll keep watching/testing, but the big win is DecompressionStream is implemented, so it reads Floppy PNGs. #ServoBrowser

The first time a visitor hits logicalmap.org , I want them to get an extra hint to view the key for help, but I don't want it to block reading the site regardless of viewport size, and I don't want them to see it on return. I set a local storage item and use #css .

My color scheme at the top of Logical Map for my icons (and the map) is based on Paul Tol's Vibrant scheme.

The Gear icon will import a config file to set layout options by level, now, on Logical Map:

Logical map stores locally and saves maps between browser sessions. You can build your own maps directly. Use 📤️ to save maps.
