Who else is excited for the #sixnations2025? We are! Apart from it being the finest #rugby competition in the world, it also heralds the better weather. We start indoors with the woodburner lit and end with the doors open and the sunlight flooding in!

Tomorrow, if the weather forecast is correct, we're in for a sunny but cold spell. So, we're planning to sow the yellow rattle seeds and the big box of wildflower seeds we have, down at the field.
Yellow rattle impede grass and weed growth, allowing the flowers to grow!

Hopefully, this is the last of the wood this winter. Here's to warmer weather on the way!

The Château de Chambord is around 90 minutes from us, one of the furthest drives youll make to see the châteaux de la Loire. It is stunning!

We have a daily delivery of fresh bread and pâtisseries in summer for our guests. Here's a small sample!

On days like today, the best way to console yourself is to think about laying in the sunshine, the warmth on your face and the promise of more of the same to come.

Something we're really excited about for the coming season is the creation of our riverside wild flower meadow! The work has been done under a government funded initiative by a local association. They chose our land to effectively rewild! Lots of work has been done, now it's our turn.
