You will find, if you read their fine print, that Angus Reid uses opt-in surveys of paid respondents in focus groups. Not random sampling. Make of that what you will.

Re: the first juror.
I’ve been a juror and remember wanting to ensure I did everything “right” incl no contact with lawyers. If I had had an interaction with a lawyer outside court, I would have reported it - striving not to do anything to jeopardize trial.
So maybe careful, not bone-headed.

I don’t believe it’s part of CBC’s mandate to inform the US population. By the way, this is how it’s being advertised there.
