If NA car manufacturers continue to back away from building EVs and hybrids, the pressure will continue to build to open the door to exports from China (as we have just seen in Canada).

I was a mill worker for the first 10 years out of high school, and decades later I still follow the ups and downs of the industry. Can’t help it.

I’ve generally supported the Liberal party for some years now. But when Justin Trudeau was making speeches, I would still cringe and shift uncomfortably in my seat. Not so with Carney.

I suppose we’ll see a negative response from Trump on all of this. And if so, I hope Carney’s response will be to ignore it. Trying to placate the man-child just doesn’t work.

I’m no fan of Conservatives, but I’m still surprised that half of them would roll over in the event of a US invasion.

I’ve been cutting Carney a lot of slack on these issues since the election, I suppose because I was so happy that Poilievre and the Conservatives didn’t win, but my patience is wearing a little thin.
