Nothing surprises me about how animals are treated. The important thing is you saved his life, give him lots of love, treats, safety and a soft place to sun himself. Mourn the past and know you have spoiled him enough for him to never think of it again. No greater happiness than a wagging tail.

Excuse me but do none of these god awful people have wives, daughters or granddaughters? How do they justify their existence to them?
