So I don't know what the guy writing that review was going off about...

Heated Rivalry is extremely accurate to the real gay experience since the main characters have sex almost immediately and then are weirdly awkward and pretty evasive after that. And they can never get their schedules straight. And the one is cheating on his partner.

This scene convinced me that Heated Rivals was interested in accuracy!

I watched the first episode and there must have been specific butt casting sessions for the main actors.

This is such a tortured metaphor. And also makes Nuzzi seem like an idiot.

BSG literally hit the limit of story ideas from the original series Bible and could not figure out where the story should go from that point forward. Which is wild.

J.J. Abrams gave a TED talk which included a long aside about how Star Wars was a series of Mystery Boxes. And I wanted to smack him with a stick about how no, who Princess Leia is and what she wants is directly told to you in the crawl before the movie starts!

I blame Lost. And, perhaps even more importantly, websites realizing Lost was popular and so began treating everything as if it was Lost when reviewing TV.

Best exemplified by that episode where Kira was stuck on the planet with Dukat and starts liking him.... because he is so likeable.... despite everything she knows about him and has experienced first hand. Until she is reminded what a monster he is.

The most interesting thing about the Cardassians, which is an accidental product of casting, is that their species trait is being excessively likable and gregarious. Which interacts with their other species trait, being duplicitous fascists, in really interesting ways.

It is so good. It might genuinely be my favorite season.

Even Thor is like, "Matt, your plan is bananas!"

I am starting A Court of Fey and Flowers. It took an hour to get to them, but Emily and Lou have gone absolutely chaotic in their ten minute entrance.
