((So, yeah. I'm… I'd probably be considered quirky. And I agree, I have worked hard to be truer to my emotions, even though I wouldn't say that I often follow my desires at all.
As for tending towards cutting edge and latest things… I don't think that is often me, actually. I rather almost avoid that realm because I dislike the [burden of eyes]. It starts to be truer when it says I grow bored of old things and like new things. But not necessarily that the thing needs to be NEW, it just needs to be novel to me, and I will be much more receptive to it. Especially if said novelty is something I feel I am able to discover on my own without others' emotions pre-muddled into it. And yeah, I get bored of anything and everything, BUT! But not forever! I found my old yo-yo, the Yomega Power Brain. This one made me realize how much fun a yo-yo can truly be, and this is what is generally deemed as a 'Level 1 Beginner Yo-Yo'. It just felt much better than any cheap party favor yo-yo.

And nowadays, they end up in the pet interface, rather than being an item that must be regularly fed while following you.
(I wish that one day vultures will get the same treatment.)
