Decent maker of art. Terrible at social media.
1970's HB was spread so thin. A victim of their own success. They were pulling every trick in the book to cut even more corners. Reusing musical cues and model sheets, for example. I'm willing to bet Captain Caveman was the worst offender when it came to using old model sheets from other shows.
I could easily make a long post about all the model sheets Hanna-Barbera reused during the 70's but the one of the craziest examples is Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels pulling from 1960's Jonny Quest. The CC episode "Dragonhead" uses two characters from JQ's Quetong and an off-model Dr. Zin.

While I'm personally not too bothered by Captain Caveman and Jabberjaw, there was absolutely a huge dip in quality compared to pre-1971 HB efforts. Two 70's HB shows that are borderline unwatchable to me are: "The Amazing Chan and the Chan Clan" and "Goober and the Ghost Chasers."

I'll give some credit to HB for Funky Phantom. For their first Australia production it was at least interesting. A complete mess but interesting. It's like they tried to alternate between Scooby-Doo and Josie and the Pussy Cat plot lines with either a spook of the week or villain types.

Yeah, you nailed it with this one and the other one you posted. Very striking, well balanced colors that attract the eye.

Love how the aqua and violet color scheme on this one pops. Great job as always, John!

Political theater. That’s why so many republicans voted yes. This was always the plan once an investigation was opened.

Minton also mentioned a rumor I heard at the time that Toby Danger played a minor roll in 90's JQ to "rethink" their series.

They're absolutely doing that.
I found this interview with Tom Minton about Toby Danger. I knew it had the three main voice actors from the 80's JQ but I didn't know that they had done a pitch to make it a weekly series. Toby Danger would of been Venture Bros. before Venture Bros.

These companies are trying to get in while the grift is hot and money is flowing don't think that they'll get sucked down when it all implodes.

Because that strategy has never bit anyone in the ass before.

He's right. We need to find a middle ground on piracy.
If you don't want to pay people for work and would rather use a generative slop machine to steal their livelihood then consumers shouldn't have to pay anything for media that uses AI.
